I am currently working on this and at times I feel finished.
Here is my Artist Statement:
Change Is Good, is a series of photographs dedicated to my childhood experiences through toy vending machines. As an immigrant, all possibilities are unknown and all hope is present and alive. Toy vending machines excited a part of me as it translated my perspective towards my new life. Looking at the world with desire and hope with countless different outcomes. Change is good literally and metaphorically. Learning and accepting this, is the lesson I learned as an immigrant to Queens, NY.
This series is dedicated to my father, who always gave me change.
